 January and February Deadlines

Tick tock.  Tick tock.  Deadlines suck.  Missing deadlines is even worse.  The Jolt is here to help you avoid that unpleasant possibility.  Here are some important deadlines for the beginning of the semester:

January 21st: Classes begin.
February 3rd: Last day to add a course without a fee (by 5 p.m.)
February 14-17th: Presidents Day Weekend; no classes
February 16th: First day to register for a RISD course.
February 18th: Last day to add a course or change a grade option.
February 23rd: Last day to register for a RISD course.

Calling all Procrastinators!

Hey, you. Yes, you. We know you're not working. We're glad you're visiting the Jolt, but there's a whole world out there at your disposal. Believe it or not, Providence has a lot of things to do, and the Jolt is here to help you discover them. We've developed a new Random Adventure Generator, which is full of fun things you can do around the city. We've even done our best to make sure you can get there for free using RIPTA. The Adventure Generator is still in its beta version, and we'd love any suggestions or additions you might have. Check out the Random Adventure generator here!

The New Jolt is almost here!

New things aren't always an improvement. Just ask New Coke or New Facebook. One thing that we're happy about, though, is the imminent arrival of the NEW JOLT We've promised it for years, but it has now been launched at our sister sites at Hampshire and other schools less important than us. Feel free to drop by the new sites and send us your feedback.

Don't forget to get your daily dose of the Daily Jolt!
